SAE 100R15 is a super-high-pressure multi-spiral steel wire hydraulic hose designed for the most rigorous heavy-duty hydraulic applications, offering higher pressure ratings than R13. It is constructed with a heat and oil-resistant synthetic rubber inner tube, ensuring compatibility with petroleum-based hydraulic oils, synthetic esters, polyglycols, and vegetable oils. The reinforcement uses four or six layers of high-tensile steel wire spirals (alternating directions), providing superior tensile strength, extraordinary pressure resistance, and excellent impulse performance (up to 6,000 psi / 42 MPa constant working pressure). The heavy-duty synthetic rubber outer cover delivers outstanding resistance to abrasion, weather, ozone, oil, and flame, with MSHA approval for mining applications. This hose operates reliably at -40°C to +121°C, maintaining flexibility and stability in extreme temperature conditions.
